
Just recently, Google and TeleAtlas have signed a long-term agreement giving Google the right to access the maps of over 200 countries in the world. TeleAtlas shall provide maps for Google’s navigation across mobile, desktop environments, map-based services and the Android OS which will be launched soon. Users will be able to access and utilize the maps with the aid of the mapping application that empowers Google platforms. Once the ‘maps to edits’ are opened, TeleAtlas Maps can come up with higher quality maps, while Google will certainly become the leading provider of services for mapping applications.

AT&T users are in for a little added excitement as they will have to wait for two to four more weeks before they can finally lay their hands on the Blackberry Bold. Rogers Canada has recently announced that the new BlackBerry Bold (9000 series) will be released on the 25th of July.

While many companies find it hard to stay firm with their pledge to produce greener products, Sony Ericsson is able to do it with flying colors despite recycling a mere 1 to 3 percent of its own. For this reason, Sony Ericsson earned top honors in the latest Greenpeace Guide to Green Electronics.

The much-buzzed about Motorola ROKR E8 finally gets set for launching by T-Mobile on July 7.
With word about the ROKR E8 going around the mobile scene as far back as September of last year, many were curious and have waited for the actual coming of the handset that prides itself with amazingly clear calls and awesome musical experience – AND the highly-acclaimed proprietary technology that makes it very easy to shift between the two.
