Japanese telecom major NTTDoCoMo has announced 16 new phones to its lineup and each one is more unique than the other.One of these handsets is the NEC N906i clamshell phone with a 5.2MP sensor and a smile detection. Its 3 inch VGA (640 x 480) display screen is perfect for watching videos or web browsing.The phone Measures 109mm × 49mm × 19.6mm and weighs 133grams. Other features includes HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Yamaha audio chip for crisp and clear sound, Micro SD card slot and support for majority of audio and video formats.

Samsung today introduced L870.The 13.5-mm thin phone pumps Symbian v9.3 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 at its core with a 3 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA display, FM radio, Stereo Bluetooth, and microSD expansion.

Samsung L870 will first be launched in Europe around August, then will continue to be available in all regions where GSM is available.

Verizon has launched the midrange W755 clamshell from Motorola.The W755 has most of the same features and specs as the RAZR V3m, but adds stereo Bluetooth and external touch controls for controlling music, Bluetooth, and the ringer. Features in common with the V3m include 1.3 megapixel camera, color external display, microSD memory card slot, and GPS navigation.

The W755 is available now in purple and black from verizonwireless.com, for $69.99 with 2-year contract and online discount.

Walt Disney in cooperation with Sharp, announced to release the new DM002SH phone in June 7th, 2008. Dubbed as the Cinderella phone, it features a 2.6 inch internal display with a WQVGA resolution (400×240 pixel), a 0.5 inch external OLED display, 50MB of memory, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth, microSD slot, and a 1Seg Tuner.

The handset is currently available in three variants; Clear Crystal, Brown Topaz, and Pink Diamond

K-Touch has introduced the C280 8MP camera phone in the Chinese market during CHITEC 2008.The C280’s ISO value can be set as high as 1600, expanding its capabilities in low-light conditions. The phone’s camera will also use an LED flash and face-detection software. Timer and macro functions are also integrated into the camera’s capabilities.

Thus far, the C280 is due to go on sale only in the Chinese market, though no release dates or prices have been revealed.
