French operator SFR will launch an MTV-branded phone next week, the MTV3.3, along with limited-time and fixed-cost plans designed to appeal to the young people most likely to want the phone. The 3G slider phone includes MTV content such as videos, logos, wallpapers, original ringtones created by DJ Cut Killer and the MTV Cribs mobile game. The handset will also have easy access to MTV news, four MTV channels and 2 made-for-mobile channels.The most attractive part of this whole deal might be the pricing: €49 (about $77) at the April 23 launch. And no, sorry, if you’re not in France, you’re not cool enough to find one in your local store.
