Nokia announced in same press release with Nokia N82 Back Edition, that it was shipping the N95 8GB NAM, its North American adaptation of the equally black slider phone. The phone adds 3G cellular Internet support for AT&T and Rogers and takes advantage of this in the North American bundle by offering six months’ free use of Nokia Maps, the handset maker’s own navigation service. Its larger screen, 5-megapixel camera, and improved battery life also stay in place. The updated N95 8GB should be available in “select” stores online and at retail for about $749.
