The owners of Motorola’s Z8 smartphone have something to be pleased about - in a long overdue move, Motorola have finally released a public firmware update for this phone. Details of the exact firmware version released are a little sketchy at the moment, as Motorola have quietly been shipping updated firmwares on new handsets for a while now.

In order to update the Z8, you’ll need to download Motorola’s software update tool. Once you install it, connect your phone using USB cable (put the Z8 in “USB Modem” modem) and you should see an updated firmware available. Good luck!
