Rounding out Sony-Ericsson’s phone releases at Mobile World Congress are the C702 and C902, both entries in the company’s Cyber-shot cameraphone lineup. The Sony Ericsson C902 cell phone stays true to the Cybershot name focusing more on its camera capabilities. Within its sleek and slim form factor, the C902 houses a 5-megapixel camera with Face Detection, Auto Focus, Photo Flash, and BestPic technology, which enables shooting up to 9 pictures in quick succession. On the music side, it’s not that different from the C702 with Mega Bass, TrackID, FM Radio, and music tones. The Access NetFront browser seems to be becoming the standard browser for all upcoming Sony Ericsson devices along with RSS feed support, as was the case with the Sony Ericsson’s recent K series and W Series phones.
Both hold 160MB of internal memory, accept Memory Stick Micro cards, and function in the US with quad-band GSM/EDGE. 3G HSDPA and UMTS access will be available to Europeans when the the C702 and C902 both ship in the spring.
