Alltel Wireless announced the LG Scoop ,plan to be available during the first quarter of 2008.The LG Scoop allows customers to take it easy on their thumbs with a messaging-friendly QWERTY keyboard and chat-style IM. Offered in three colors including citrus orange, slate gray and turquoise blue, the LG Scoop has AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger pre-loaded, so there is never a missed message. The phone also features a 1.3 MP camera with video capabilities and is Celltop-ready as well as Bluetooth capable.

I have had the LG scoop for probably 6 months and on looks it was definitly a 5/5… but on durability like a 2/5. it scratches sooo easily you can’t barely let it touch anything accept your hands! And i’ve experienced a lot of glitches, too. sometimes… out of no where. it will just shut off right in the middle of texting, it doesn’t always tell you when someone is calling, just when it’s a missed call. and it sux cuz just about 3 months ago i dropped it on a rug and the scteen cracked from the inside. so im getting the krazr.

i have the blue on and it is the most awesome phone in the world. i got it for my birthday! my friend has the orange one and she loves it too!
