Vodafone announced the Samsung i640 on the market.The i640 is the same WM 6 device as the Samsung i620, but with a special silver Vodafone exclusive design. Featuring triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, single-band UMTS/HSDPA (up to 3.6 Mbps), Bluetooth 2.0, a 2 MP camera and a full QWERTY keypad, the i640 is a pretty sweet addition to the Vodafone selection of smartphone devices.

True, it is sort of a bummer that it doesn’t offer quad-band support or any WiFi functionality to speak of, but the i640 is sure to be a welcome launch to the UK market.
