Palm has released the Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade for the AT&T version of the Treo 750. The update was announced at CTIA Wireless Expo in March, and was scheduled to be released in the Summer.
Summer became late fall, and Palm released the Treo 750 upgrade for unlocked versions… only to be stuck in AT&T approval. Now, AT&T customers can finally upgrade their Treo 750 units, at the link below. As with other Windows Mobile 6 upgrades on AT&T, the upgrade is a free download, and all Treo 750 owners are encouraged to update.
This comes as Microsoft is set to announce Windows Mobile 6.1 for release, next month at CES in Las Vegas. Palm has not stated any plans for Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrades as Microsoft has not yet announced the update officially.
