O2 Germany has just unveiled the O2 XDA Star that is powered by the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system. The XDA Star is actually Germany’s version of the HTC Touch Dual. This 3G enabled smartphone will come with a 20-key QWERTY keyboard and features triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and singleband UMTS/HSDPA (up to 3.6 Mbps in theory), a 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7200 chip, a 2.6″ QVGA flat touchscreen display, and a 2 megapixel camera in addition to the VGA camera located in front for video calls. No GPS with this unit though, although you’ll get Bluetooth 2.0+EDR support. The O2 XDA Star will hit O2 Germany early next month for 29.99 Euros with a 2-year contract.
