Research In Motion today announced the Pearl 8130, a new Blackberry for CDMA networks. The 8130 updates the Pearl with new features and new software in the same familiar body. The 8130 is the first Blackberry to launch with a new OS that features a mini-map in the Browser, new font rendering technology, and updated applications including the Inbox. It also upgrades the camera to 2 Megapixels while maintaining stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and MicroSD slot.
