Palm and Sprint are holding a press conference tomorrow at the DigitalLife Tech show in New York City. Palm has sent out a news release confirming the announcement of a new “Palm Smartphone”, widely expected to be the Palm Centro. Palm, Inc. and Sprint invite credentialed media and market analysts to attend a press conference at DigitalLife on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007. The event, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, will begin with lunch at 12:15 p.m. EST, immediately followed by the press conference at 12:30 p.m. EST. The news will include a new Palm smartphone for Sprint.

At DigitalLife, Palm also will feature hands-on demonstrations of its latest smart device for Sprint at the Palm Lounge, Booth No. 435.
