Verizon and Sierra Wireless have announced the Aircard 595U for Verizon’s BroadbandAccess data service.The modem is an EVDO Rev. A USB device with an included cradle and can be powered independently of the USB port by using an internal battery, as well as having support for external high gain antennae with the built-in port.

The verizon  modem is currently available for business customers and online at a cost of $229.99 with a $50 instant discount, bringing the total to $179.99 after signing a new 2 year agreement and purchasing BroadbandAccess service at $59.99 a month.
