Bell, a major Canadian telecommunications company, announced the release of the Samsung U740. Key features include a QWERTY keyboard, EVDO high-speed data, music player, and memory card slot. Other features include Bluetooth, location-based services, a camera, advanced voice dialing, and dual color displays.
The slim Samsung SCH-U740 mobile phone has a pivot design that makes texting easy. A unique black and champagne color scheme also helps you make a statement. The Samsung U740 will use Bell’s high speed wireless connections. It is available with a contract for $149.99. It is also available without a contract, but this time, its $379.99.

i have this fone. it is awesome accept that the ringtones suck. the voyager would be perfect if it could flip both ways, and if it wuz left handed. the fone has a LOT of storage.

this phone is a beast and whoever said that the ringtones suck have no idea what they are talking about because i got the tightest songs available on it. this phone rulz so go get one!

It’s a good phone. I picked it up January 10th, 2009. I was able to wheel and deal at the Bell store with the service rep’ (as I’ve been with them since June 2004). I was able to get the phone for “free” as long as I signed up for a 3-year contract, and I’m on my grandfatherly contract (Corportate PCS) as I work in health care, so it’s a pretty good deal. I had a 20% discount before on my plan, plus free call display / call waiting / message centre express / call forwarding, etc. The rep’ gave me a 30% discount now / 300 minutes anytime (from 200) / free evenings and weekends (from 6pm - 8am) / etc. My bill went from $33.40 - 34 down to $28.17 - 28.75. I’m happy. If I didn’t have all the discounts and such … the plan would be $71.
