Qualcomm and KTF have teamed up to announce the launch of the WIPI 2.0B cellphone in Korea this July, with the KH1400 handset being duly supplied by LG. WIPI 2.0B is actually an integrated version of WIPI 2.0 and Brew 3.1. For those who are out of the loop (like me prior to this), WIPI is a wireless Internet standard platform in Korea while Brew is Qualcomm’s version. Hence, the logical conclusion drawn would be the ability for the KH1400 to access contents and applications on both WIPI and Brew platforms.
