AT&T and Samsung have announced the pending availability of the a717 3G clamshell and a727 3G candy bar phone in a press release today. Both phones are derivatives of the Ultra 12.9 and Ultra 8.9 respectively.

Both phones feature support for AT&T’s new Video Share service, AT&T Mobile Music, AT&T Video, MobiTV, MobiRadio, Bluetooth 2.0, quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900), dualband W-CDMA (HSDPA/UMTS 850/1900), microSD expansion, a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording on the a717, and a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording on the a727.

The latest cell called? a717 will launch on June 4th at a cost of $149.99 after a new 2 year contract and $50 mail in rebate with the a727 expected to launch soon after at a cost of $99.99 after a new 2 year contract and $50 mail in rebat….
