NTT DoCoMo has recently launched the Sharp FOMA SH904i which runs on Symbian OS and the MOAP platform. This clamshell handset is extremely rectangular in design - something that is either hit or miss with the masses. Complementing the 3″ widescreen display is a touchpad function that gives the SH904i a similar ‘operational feel to that of a computer. There is no word on pricing, but my envy of the Japanese and Koreans sure knows no bounds after seeing the kinds of handsets they get.

At 0.7 inches, the E62 is thin enough to stash in a pocket, and its wide, high-resolution screen displays 16 million colors, making it an excellent choice for media playing and internet browsing.IM was a breeze with the roomy QWERTY keyboard and software included for AIM, Yahoo! and MSN messaging services.E62 is capable to transfer photos and other data easily through an included USB 2.0 cable, Bluetooth and Infrared.
According to Nokia, the E62 can accept miniSD cards up to 2 GB in size. It’s unclear whether this is an absolute limit or simply the upper range of cards that are officially tested, though it may be a moot question, since 4 GB miniSD cards seem virtually non-existent.

The J502 have? 3 megapixel autofocus cam, 2.4 inch QVGA
display, TV out, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR (including A2DP), and a rather creative SMS remote control feature that allows the owner to control a variety of functions from afar — lock, format, call forward, and so on. Of course, if the phone’s stolen, we imagine one of the first things on the thief’s mind is switching out the SIM, so ya better hurry if you want to wipe it. No word on a release date, but expect the 14.7mm slider in your choice of red and black when it drops. They can also utilize the Bluetooth Skype Phone function to save costs for calls by dialing and answering Skype calls with the ASUS J502, as well as send Skype SMS.

Samsung’s u620 slider holds the honorable distinction of being the very first handset with MediaFLO support to launch commercially ’round here (or anywhere, for that matter), thanks to Verizon’s VCAST TV. Besides being great for mobile couch potatoes — yes, we’re aware that’s an oxymoron — the u620 holds its own as a small, powerful handset with goodies like stereo Bluetooth, EV-DO, a 1.3 megapixel cam, and? QVGA display.

CT-6618 runs with a? 5 megapixel camera in a cellphone, the very first image that comes into your mind would be that of the Nokia N95. While the CT-6618 boasts a 5 megapixel camera, this dual band GSM handset offers nothing really out of the ordinary. Sure, you get all the normal trappings of an average cellphone including MP3 and MPEG 4 playback, Bluetooth A2DP connectivity, WAP, GPRS, and a microSD memory card slot, but other than that there is nothing available which compels you to part with $280 for the CT-6618. The 87MB of internal memory can be augmented further by throwing in a 2GB microSD card.
