The latest cell phone launched by Fastlink and Research In Motion is BlackBerry Pearl smartphone in Jordan. Pearl provides the well-known access toblackberry-pearl-released-in-jordan.jpg BlackBerry wireless services including email, text messaging and corporate data applications. The mobile provider Fastlink will also be providing BlackBerry Internet Service for its customers. Users can enjoy a digital camera and media player onboard the new BlackBerry. For additional storage, the device also offers expandable memory. In the Middle East, the BlackBerry service is currently available in Jordan, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain.

The latest cell Samsung E210 clamshell phone is loaded with functions including email capability, Web access, QWERTY keyboard, 16.5mm-thin, 1.3MP camera, monochrome external display, 65K color OLED screen, 176?—144/15 fps video capture, 10MB of Internal memory with microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. The GSM phone also offers GPRS class 10 connectivity. It will be available in Europe for $200.

Softbank Japan comes back with the Toshiba 814T clamshell phone. Measuring only 12.9mm thick, the 814T features a 2.4 inch QVGA display supporting 260k colors, a 2MP camera, and a Micro SD card slot. However, it lacks of many features like GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The Toshiba 814T measures 50mm ?— 101mm ?— 12.9mm and weighs 97 grams. It will be available very soon in Japan.

The SV280 cellphone from LG that looked like a banana is starting to look more like a banana in terms of color, although being green makes it far from ripe.The LG SV280 is a slider handset that comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, an integrated MP3 player, and 142MB of integrated memory.Source

While the Samsung SGH-i620 is not official announced, the site suggest the phone to be the successor of Samsung SGH-i600. Both share the similar specification and the SGH-i620 will support HSDPA/UTMS data connection too. The Samsung SGH-i620 is a smartphone running Windows Mobile 6 Standard edition. It has a 65k colors TFT display screen with QVGA (320 x 240 resolution). The phone is generally shorter than the i600, where its QWERTY keyboard is designed on a slider. With a 95 grams body, it is definitely one of the lightest smartphone around.
