
NTT Docomo will launch the Xi by the end of this year. As the company claims, the Xi will provide infinite connection possible. The Xi logo, according to Docomo, symbolizes infinity, aligning the letters in a single stream to embody the bonds that organically link people, goods and information, and lead to new innovation.
The Xi will provide 75Mb/s downlink and 3G connectivity. Docomo’s LTE launch will make it one of the earliest operators to commercially deploy the technology.

Motorola will start officially start selling the Motorola Bali on August 11 via www.boostmobile.com. The device will be for sale at $149.99 with free shipping included, but exluding taxes. Motorola Bali is a stylish lightweight flip phone with a 1.3MP camera with video, stereo Bluetooth and GPS capabilities. It carries an MP3 music player with external touch controls and expandable microSD memory for listening to your favorite tunes on the go.

HTC is bringing the brand in China particularly in China Mobile. The company fabricated a special model for the Chinese namely Tianxi and HTC Tianyi, a high-end touchscreen smartphone tht is powered by Windows Mobile operating system.
HTC chief executive Peter Chou said that the company believes that China is a good market for smartphone development. He further estimated that 8% of smartphone users in China know HTC’s brand, even though the company has never officially used the brand in the country. He added that, because many HTC phones are imported into the country, HTC may already rank second in the Chinese smartphone market.

In a survey report, AT&T tops the result of the highest number of satisfied iPhone users. Yankee Group, the one who is responsible for the survey result, recorded 73% of ‘very satisfied’ iPhone users subscribed under AT&T’s service. According to the result, iPhone owners are so happy over their handset that they see AT&T in a positive light.
Previous reports, however, have shown reports of angry subscribers over what is said to be mishandling of the iPhone data load. In the interim, AT&T is pointing the problem to perception as the root. They maintain their belief that the company is a good carrier.
